This paper presents a general review of the available COVID-19 literature with brief overview crisis and disaster management. The study tries to explore knowledge about various spheres tourism society brought by pandemic through contributed academicians. exploratory descriptive nature is carried out based on secondary sources. has focused mainly areas like virus virocene, anthropocene, lovecene, health crisis, belief model, tourist safety, risk, four horsemen fear, panic buying behavior, crowding perceptions mass gathering, social distance, shock, xenophobia, ethnocentrism, protection motivation theory, anthropause anthropulse, Herzberg’s two factor microadventure, resilience, major pandemics pathogen outbreaks. raised questions what kind could be acquired from tourism?
